LEXINGTON, Ky.. – The University of Kentucky College of Arts & Sciences has named its 2021-22 Student Ambassadors. Ambassadors have a wide range of responsibilities, including:

Participating in such UK recruiting efforts at preview nights and open houses.

Serving fellow students through programs including Merit Weekends, K-week and Admitted Student Day.

Assisting with all College international initiatives.

Representing the College during Homecoming and at other alumni meetings, receptions, Advisory Board activities and similar events.

Creating content for the A&S Ambassador website.
-
Coordinating a college-wide service project.
The 2021-22 UK College of Arts & Sciences student ambassadors are:
Gracie Elliott (co-coordinator) is a senior majoring in English and minoring in Spanish from Lexington. She also is the vice president of the Three-Day-Eventing team and the merchandising chair for Chi Omega sorority.
Alyssa Hargis (co-coordinator) is a sophomore majoring in Environmental and Sustainability Studies and Public Health as a dual degree. She is from Milford, Ohio, and is interested in researching the environment’s impact on health.
Libby Blank is a junior pursuing a dual degree in Biology and Spanish on a pre-medical track. She is from Walton, Kentucky, and is the social chair for Phi Delta Epsilon medical fraternity. She performs research with an orthopedic surgeon at the Orthopedic Research and Innovation Foundation in Northern Kentucky.
Madison Baker, from Henderson, Kentucky, is a second-year student working toward a dual degree in Psychology and Interdisciplinary Disability Studies. She is the coordinator for Camp Kesem, an officer for Gamma Phi Beta Sorority and member of the Lewis Honors College.
Madeline Bavely, from Atlanta, is a junior double-majoring in Environmental and Sustainability Studies and Theater. She's interested in exploring human connections and their effects on the environment.
JC Berry is a Foreign Language and International Economics major with a minor in business from Louisville. He plans on joining the Peace Corps.
Shelby Brantley, from Georgetown, Kentucky, is a senior Biology major with a minor in Neuroscience and a member of the Lewis Honors College. She is the president of Alpha Lambda Delta, the historian chair in Phi Delta Epsilon, the secretary of the Appalachian Health Initiative an Undergraduate Research Ambassador, and a member of the American Medical Student Association.
Zach Brown is a sophomore Neuroscience major from Lexington. He is a board member with NeuroCATS, an undergraduate organization for neuroscience enthusiasts.
Sereniti Jade Coulter is a Linguistics and Modern and Classical Language, Literature andn Cultures major from Bardstown, Kentucky. She is a member of the Muslim Student Association and the service fraternity Alpha Phi Omega.
Nicole Currier is a junior Foreign Language and International Economics major who also is studying Russian. She is from Lexington.
Clayton Dalton is a junior English and Political Science major and member of the Lewis Honors College. He is from Somerset, Kentucky. He's also involved in Choristers, a large on-campus choral ensemble.
Lauren Denton, a native of Chicago, is a junior at the University of Kentucky majoring in English with a minor in Political Science. She is involved with several campus organizations including Black is Gold University and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority.
Callie Dickman is a sophomore majoring in Environmental and Sustainability Studies along with Natural Resources and Environmental Sciences from Union, Kentucky. She is a part of Lexington Environmental Youth Outreach and the Lewis Honors College.
Madison Hein is a sophomore Biology major with a minor in Psychology. She is from Pittsburgh and is a member of the Medicats club.
Joshua Hinton, from Lexington, is a sophomore in the UK BLUE pre-law program who is double-majoring in English and Political Science.
Sayword Kaiser, from Lexington, is a junior majoring in Psychology and minoring in Criminology.
Ghady Kanaan is from Lebanon and now calls Crestview Hills, Kentucky, home. He is a senior majoring in Chemistry with a minor in Mathematics. He volunteers at Transformative Learning as a tutor for general and organic chemistry and at the Refuge Clinic in Lexington.
Jorden Keator is a senior from Louisville majoring in English with an option in Creative Writing and a minor in Spanish. She is the president of the English Honor's Society.
Caroline Koontz is a sophomore Environmental and Sustainability Studies major from Pinehurst, North Carolina.
Cameron Lynch is a junior majoring in Neuroscience. She grew up in Dayton, Ohio, and Lexington.
Flor Muciño is a junior majoring in Biology with a minor in Anthropology. She has lived in Lexington for eight years, and volunteers as a facilitator for the Latinx Leadership and College Experience Camp.
Johana Campos Sanchez is a junior double majoring in Writing, Rhetoric, and Digital Studies and Spanish. She is from Morehead, Kentucky.
David Stevens is a sophomore majoring in Political Science with a minor in History. He is from Owensboro, Kentucky.
