Research Interests

I am a Lecturer of Japan Studies, mainly teaching the elementary and intermediate language courses. My current interest is the effective implementation of the flipped classroom method into the language classes and how to modify it to better fit to the students’ needs and their learning styles. I am also interested in developing the comparative cultural projects in the language courses, so that the students can approach the target language and culture from multiple perspectives and deepen the understanding of the culture and society underlying the language structure.
