Title:  A light introduction to combinatorial games

Abstract:  I will offer a introduction to combinatorial games.  I will review some of the standard results, such as the existence of willing strategies for certain classes of two person games, and the notion of nim values for impartial games.  If time permits, I may also be able to offer a peek into Conway's surreal numbers.
